A shell that is washed twice a season lasts twice as long. These guides cover washing, re-waterproofing, resoling and what to send back to us.

Washing a shell

Zip everything, turn it inside out, 30 degrees, no softener. Tumble dry on low for twenty minutes to reactivate the coating.

Re-waxing canvas

Warm the wax bar with a hair dryer and work it into the seams first. One tin covers a Tide 28 pack about three times.

Resoling boots

Moraine boots take a standard Vibram unit. Any cobbler can do it, or send them to Turku and we will return them within three weeks.
